DESCRIPTION
The Children School Mainada opened its doors to the public in 1969 and has determined since then, to maintain an inndvating spirit and is always adapting itself to the needs of the children. At present, the centre focuses on children between the age groups of 3 months and 3 years. The psychopedagogical bases of our educational project starts from our global work. Each of the learning areas is tackled in a set mode: the child experiments and learns with the whole body, and has to make good use of all their aptitudes and capacity to keep learning. We work on the habits that permit them to achieve the necessary autonomy to enable them to adapt themselves to a constantly changing society. For this reason, we consider it important. Being able to grow up in an environment of feelings and affections that provide confidence and personal security and therefore acquire the taste and desire to learn, explore, investigate, imagine , experiment and observe. It is about putting into practice the project that each child has at birth, and because of this we integrate the most traditional methodologies with the latest knowledge and the latest contributions about child development.
